COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
  • Starting base pay per hour: $22 to $25 depending on experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Communicate across Production, Warehouse and Procurement & Maintenance teams to meet production schedule.
  • Drive attainment of the daily production schedule and goals.
  • Work with Quality Assurance team to ensure products are safe and approved for packaging.
  • Communicate with maintenance on machine or production line issues.
  • Evaluate employee performance.
  • Ensure all employees follow Good Manufacturing Practices & meet or exceed plant safety standards.
  • Train new employees on Standard Operating Procedures.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability and history of working successfully in a multi-cultural setting, bilingual ability is a plus.

EQUIPMENT, MACHINERY, TOOLS USE:
  • Industrial equipment.
  • Forklift.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Lift 35 lbs. often and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment.
  • Ambient temperature warehouse, can vary across the facility.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb stairs.
  • Work on concrete surface.

WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years in food manufacturing
  • Production floor leadership experience.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience desired preferably in food manufacturing.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
